School Information

The Mid North Education Centre is a Reception to year 12 special school. We cater for the educational and care needs of students with intellectual disabilities, who may also have additional disabilities (vision, hearing, physical, sensory impairments)

The school has 3 classes R-12. MNEC provides individualised learning based upon the students’ individual needs and in collaboration with the students, their families, therapists and the community using the relevant curricula including ABLES SA, Australian Curriculum and the South Australian Certificate of Education.

Our priority is to prepare each student for their optimal post-school pathway.
